We have labeled our .net facilities “TimeSuite.” The TimeSuite grids and dialogs run along side the traditional Toolbox Accounting Suite. Combined, Toolbox TimeSuite offers a growing facility to manage your business.

TimeSuite Estimating

We are getting great reviews from our customers on the newest edition of TimeSuite Estimating. The newest edition provides users with an unlimited number of views. Users can add tabs for template jobs or other jobs, and copy and paste between tabs. Users can now add billing codes on the fly. Users can add sub-cost codes on the fly. Users can add a view to do both the revenue and cost sides of the change order process. In addition, there are many more fields and capabilities that have been added.

Scheduling/Task Manager

Toolbox Software has now incorporated our new Scheduling/Task Manager into our own support process. Your edition of Toolbox has the Scheduling/Task Manager. Gant Chart scheduling is with dependencies that are forward and backward are just a couple of the facilities extensive capabilities.

New Cost Plus Facility:

New features include an extensive enhanced cost plus billing facility. We are in the process of finalizing this new facility.

The next Generation of Crystal Reports will be in the Next General Release

We are converting reports to the newest version of Crystal, Crystal 2008.

We have figured out how to drill down on live transactions from reports, and will begin retrofitting reports with this capability. Because of the volume of reports, it will take a while to give them all the ability to pull up live transactions. Security will be addressed with this new feature. If a user does not have view access to a particular transaction type, the user will be precluded from pulling up the transactions. If the user does have read access, the transaction will come up in read only mode.

Year End Payroll Tax Tables Update

Payroll Tax Tables: Year-end tax updates are coming. Expect to receive an email with instructions on how to update your tax tables. Like every year, expect this email between Christmas and New Years day. The delay is necessary since not all tables are released until about this time every year. The exception is Canada which seems to do better. However, we will send all tax table updates at the same time. Upon receiving the updates via email, please call in if you need support.

Year End Closing

There are many accounting concepts that surround the percentage o completion method of accounting. We do offer a class that provides individual attention to the concepts, and how you can use Toolbox to facilitate your organization following these generally accepted accounting concepts (GAAP) as well as other GAAP concepts that pertain to contractors and project oriented entities.

Crystal Reports OEM Agreement

An OEM agreement is now in place that allows us to embed Crystal Reports with Toolbox TimeSuite. In the process of negotiating this agreement, we purchased professional editions of Crystal Reports for all of our end users along with a maintenance agreement that gives our users access to all upgrades to Crystal Reports. In 2007, we deployed a significant number of those licenses. We negotiated a favorable price for each copy, and have been passing those licenses on to Toolbox users at our cost. If you do not have your license deployed, please contact support.

In addition to deploying Crystal Reports, we have implemented three Crystal Reports classes. The three classes provide seven hours of focused report modification and development concepts that are specific to Toolbox TimeSuite.
